Amid Tears and Cheers, Epstein Victims Speak Out

Epstein Survivors Urge Trump to Support Transparency Bill in Emotional Capitol Press Conference In a powerful and poignant bipartisan press event on Capitol Hill today, eight women who survived sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein urged former President Donald Trump to support legislation requiring the release of all federal files related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. The women stood alongside Representatives Thomas Massie (R‑KY) , Ro Khanna (D‑CA) , and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R‑GA) to support the Epstein Files Transparency Act , which would compel the Department of Justice to release sealed case files. The bill is just two Republican signatures shy of reaching the House floor via a discharge petition. Anouska De Georgiou , who testified at Maxwell’s trial, spoke directly to Trump: “President Trump, you have so much influence and power in this situation. Please use that influence and power to help us.” Haley Robson , a Republican and survivor, rebuked those who’ve calle...

If Republicans Refuse, Will Epstein Survivors Create and Make Public Their Own List?

I n one of the more stunning moments in a series of 2 press conferences today outside the U.S. Capitol featuring  survivors of sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, the powerfully believe and persuasive group announced a survivor-led initiative to compile and eventually release the names of Epstein’s known associates, citing frustration with government inaction and secrecy. Survivors are unified in calling for transparency and full document disclosure—so we’re taking it into our own hands.” The initiative will collect firsthand accounts, flight logs, social ties, and survivor testimony to construct what Phillips called “a comprehensive accountability map.” Phillips emphasized that the project is not about political point-scoring, but truth: “This isn’t partisan. It’s personal. We deserve to know who enabled this abus...

Jeffrey Epstein was a financier and convicted sex trafficker who, by the early 2000s, had cultivated relationships with many high-profile figures in business, media, and politics. In 2008, he avoided federal prosecution through a controversial non-prosecution agreement, culminating in just 13 months in a county jail and no notification to his accusers—a decision later deemed as showing “poor judgment” by the Justice Department’s internal review  . Epstein was arrested again on federal sex‑trafficking charges in July 2019 and died by suicide in his jail cell on August 10, 2019  . 2. Epstein’s Network of Power Epstein’s social circle included an array of wealthy and influential people—from Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew to prominent business figures. His access to elites, global reach, and ability to travel under the public—but often secretive—cover of philanthropy and networking became a hallmark of the scandal  . 3. The Trump–Epstein C...
